KEY CONSIDERATIONS

When choosing a Spa spool

When selecting your hot tub, consider the following:

  • Size & seating: Think about how many people will be using your spa. Is it just for two, or do you want space for family and friends? A well-sized spa ensures everyone gets a comfy seat without overcrowding. We have options for 2-8 people.
  • Heating: Do you want a spa that's always hot and ready to go, or one you can heat up as needed? Electric options are ideal for consistent, low-maintenance heating, while hybrid or wood-fired models offer flexibility and off-grid potential.
  • Maintenance: Our spa pools combine the easy-care durability of 316L marine-grade stainless steel on the inside with the warm, natural beauty of a cedar exterior that just needs occasional oiling to keep it looking its best.
  • Location: Indoor or outdoor? Coastal or alpine? Make sure your spa is made to handle the conditions where you live. Our stainless steel spas are built tough to weather any climate.

Benefits of Stainless Steel Spa Pools

icon

Durability and resistance to corrosion

Stainless steel is renowned for its exceptional strength and longevity. These spas are built to withstand harsh weather conditions, making them perfect for outdoor use. The material resists rust and corrosion, ensuring your bath maintains its sleek appearance and functionality for years, even in coastal or high-moisture environments.

icon

Easy maintenance and cleaning of your outdoor spa

Cleaning a stainless steel spa is effortless, thanks to its non-porous surface, which resists stains and bacteria. A simple wipe with mild soap and water keeps it looking pristine.
The material's resilience also means it won't crack, chip, or deteriorate over time, saving you money on repairs and replacements.

icon

Heat retention for longer soaking sessions

Enjoy the ultimate relaxation with spas that retain heat exceptionally well. The thermal properties of stainless steel ensure water stays warm longer, allowing you to savour extended soaking sessions without the need for constant reheating.

Eco-friendly materials and sustainable design

Stainless steel is 100% recyclable, making it an environmentally responsible choice for your outdoor spa. Combined with cedar cladding from sustainable sources, these baths offer a stylish yet eco-conscious option for your outdoor space. The long lifespan further reduces waste, contributing to a more sustainable lifestyle.

Spa Pool Maintenance Tips

Maintaining your Stoked Stainless steel spa ensures its longevity and keeps it looking pristine. Here are some essential maintenance tips:

Stainless Steel Cleaning

  • Mild detergents: Use gentle, non-abrasive cleaners to maintain the spa's finish. Avoid harsh chemicals that can damage the stainless steel.
  • Soft cleaning tools: Opt for soft cloths or sponges to prevent scratching the surface.

Cedar Cladding Care

  • Oiling: Periodically apply a suitable oil to the cedar cladding to protect it from moisture and UV damage, preserving its natural beauty.

Water Quality

  • We prioritise using premium materials to ensure you can enjoy crystal-clear, chemical-free water treatments enhanced with your choice of natural minerals. It is important to stay within the parameters for PH, Alkalinity, and water hardness. If one of these parameters is out of balance, it can cause discolouration on the stainless.

FAQs

For electric spa pools, rinse the filter weekly, test water balance regularly, and do a full water change every 3–4 months. Deep clean the filter monthly and oil the cedar exterior as needed.

For electric spa pools, heating time depends on the starting water temperature and ambient conditions, but typically takes 8–14 hours to reach 38–40°C.

To keep your spa pool clean, test and balance the water regularly, rinse the filter weekly, and encourage users to shower before soaking. Wipe down the stainless steel interior with a soft cloth, and deep clean the filter monthly.

Stoked Stainless electric spa pools use a 3kW heating element, which draws around 3kWh of power per hour while heating. Once your spa reaches the set temperature, it uses significantly less power to maintain the heat—especially if it's well insulated and covered when not in use. Usage may vary depending on your climate and how often you use the spa.
