Stoked supporting the Glenorchy Gravel Grind 2025
At Stoked Stainless, we're proud to support local community events that embody the same values as us - passion, dedication, and connection.
That’s why we’re thrilled to sponsor the third edition of the Glenorchy Gravel Grind, held last weekend at the end of Lake Wakatipu. Despite a mix of rain, wind, and sunshine, more than 150 riders took on the challenge across three courses. The 160km Stoked Grind is a premier course that tested competitors over scenic but demanding routes, pushing them from Glenorchy through the Rees and Routeburn valleys, Paradise, and beyond.
The event raised a staggering $15,000 for the Glenorchy Trails Trust, with funds going toward new trail projects, including a mountain bike skills park for local children. For us, that community impact is what makes backing the Grind so rewarding.
Our very own Dan and Mike joined the field, taking on the demanding course alongside some of New Zealand’s toughest riders. We’re so proud to see our team out there representing Stoked Stainless in the thick of the action.
Congratulations to winners Michaela Rogan and Joshua Haggerty, who delivered record-breaking performances on the demanding 160km course. Equally, we want to celebrate every rider and volunteer who made the day possible. As the Trails Trust acknowledged, nearly 50 volunteers gave their time and energy to ensure the event was a success. A reminder of the spirit that makes Glenorchy special.
We’re honoured to have played a part in this year’s Grind and we look forward to continuing our support for events that bring people together, test limits, and celebrate the outdoors.
